Your say: Short, sharp shock
S CooperAS the mother of a 14-year-old, I was shocked and disturbed by the fatal stabbing of schoolboy Luke Walmsley in a rural village.
I was also appalled at the results of your investigation which showed that shops are willing to sell knives to children as young as 12.
What are shopkeepers thinking of handing over a potentially lethal weapon to someone so young?
Parents should also not allow pen-knives in their house. My son is not allowed one and I'd know if he ever smuggled one in.
Knives ARE dangerous - no one under the age of 18 should be in possession of them.
