Gospel music service planned at Unitarian

Linda Ball Correspondent

Tami Moore and Jim Weddell will lead a gospel music service at the North Idaho Unitarian Church Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in the Harding Family Center, 15th and Wallace.

"Gospel Music Sunday," described as a "shameless excuse to sing as many songs as we can in one service," is in its sixth year at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Palouse in Moscow. Reverend Jim Bob and Sister Tami Lea are bringing the effervescent joy of the gospel tradition to North Idaho this weekend to celebrate the African American spiritual and to get in touch with Unitarian Universalist gospel tradition.

A potluck will follow the songfest. For more information, call 765-0716.
