See you in court
STEPHEN MARTINDOUGRAY Scott wants to sue the shrink who broke up his marriage by having an affair with his wife.
The Scottish Mission Impossible 2 actor was last night said to be "raging" that married therapist Christophe Edwards was still practising.
Edwards fell for Dougray's casting agent wife Sarah Trevis, 40, last year.
After finding out about the affair, Dougray, 38, vowed to fight to save his marriage.
But the couple are now having a trial separation after Sarah resumed contact with 49-year-old Edwards.
Dougray reported Edwards to his employers at the famous Priory Clinic in South West London, who revoked his licence to practise with them.
Then the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals began disciplinary proceedings - but they were stopped when Edwards resigned his membership.
A source said last night: "Edwards is very concerned that Dougray is still totally raging about the affair.
"Dougray was furious that Edwards evaded being struck off by the federation by resigning.
"He is carrying on practising and taking new clients as though nothing had happened. The whole business is totally unregulated. It's not like being a doctor. Anyone can set up as a therapist if they want.
"Dougray can't believe how lax the whole thing is and he instructed his lawyers to investigate every possible way of pursuing Edwards."
The source added: "Edwards thought that if he just kept his head down then it would all go away. But he is beginning to realise that probably won't happen."
Dougray and Sarah, who have six-year-old twins, married three years ago, with Ewan McGregor as best man. They have been together since 1995.
Edwards and Sarah were last night unavailable for comment.
A spokesman for Dougray, who is currently filming in Canada, said: "He never comments on his private life."
