Your Voice: A grave mistake

THE reason the Church is even thinking of doubling up on funerals is because it is running out of priests.

This could be due to all the sex scandals or just general public dissillusionment with religion and the priesthood.

But perhaps discarding the celibacy rule would encourage more people to become priests.

It would certainly help cut down on the number of abusive priests.
