摘要:This study presents a critical evaluation of maximum loadability point estimation in a power system network. The critical point estimation involved maximum loadability estimation on individual load buses and simultaneous increase at several load buses. Different modes of evaluation determine the margin of load increase between the single and several loads. To obtain the optimum load values prior to voltage instability occurrence Evolutionary Programming (EP) technique is introduced. IEEE (30-Bus) Reliability Test System (RTS) was adopted for validation purposes, while comparative studies were performed with other techniques such as Artificial Immune System (AIS) and Automatic Voltage Stability Analysis (AVSA) to highlight the merit of EP.
