摘要:Objectives: Current study aims to examine the relationship between parents' play participation level, play participation attitude, and preschooler's executive function. Also, it aims to evaluate whether parents' play participation attitude mediates the relationship between parents' play participation level and preschooler's executive function. Methods: A total of 193 mothers and fathers of preschoolers aged 3,4 and 5 years participated in the mother-father dyads. Data were collected using questionnaires and were analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and Amos 25.0 programs. Results: While parents' play participation level did not have a direct effect on the preschooler's executive function, the parents' responsively and delightfully play mediated the association between parents' play participation level and preschooler's executive function. Further, parents' sensitively play, responsively and delightfully play had dual mediation effect between parents' play participation level and preschooler's executive function. Conclusion: These results identify that preschooler's executive function can be developed by parents' play attitude when parents' play participation level is high. In addition, results suggest that both parents' play variables play important roles on preschoolers' executive function development. The results can be used for the development of parent education program or consultant program.
