  • 摘要:Individuals' career adaptability skills have an essential effect on solving the problems that may met during business life. These skills are also important for undergraduate students because they will be looking for a career after graduation. Within this concept, aim of this study is to determine the career adaptabilities of senior students of two universities. These universities are Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKU) and GAZI Unıversıty (GAZI). All participants’ departments are Computer Education and Instructional Theories (CEIT). Career adaptability scores of students are also compared based on their university. The study group is consisted of 88 undergraduate students (MAKU=40, GAZI=48). The data were obtained using the Personal Information Form and the Career Adaptation Ability Scale, which was translated into Turkish and validity and reliability studies were conducted. The scale used consists of 23 items and four sub-dimensions called as Concern, Control, Curiosity and Confidence. In the analysis of the data, mean scores of career adaptation ability according to groups, gender, age and the region they live in. When the findings were evaluated, it was concluded that there was no meaningful difference between career abilities of students who are pursuing education at two different universities. Conducting the study with only senior CEIT department students can be considered as a limitation. However, in the conclusion, it is suggested that the study can be carried out on a wider scale.
