摘要：Objective: to describe the experiences of undergraduate nursing students when integrating the extension project Challenges of accessibility at the UFSC's university campus: transforming reality and the process of formulating and implementing this activity. Method: An experience report based on perceptions experienced by scholars. Results:The data revealed that the concept of disability for scholars was immersed in social and cultural stigmas distant from the concept of human diversity, as well as it became evident that only physical measures of adaptation were considered accessible, suppressing any other social or behavioral measure. Conclusion: Bearing in mind that disability is a complex phenomenon that requires collective interventions to remove barriers from the environment and society, it is believed that it is essential to encourage discussions in this regard.
