摘要：Thereare differentapproaches to writing travel narrativesand literatureaboutmountainwayfaring. Thisarticlestudies thejourney ofa contemporarywriter in the highlands. By providing a historicalcontext for thespacecrossed and by confronting theexpressed emotions brought on by thelandscape which led to the marginalization ofthe Cézallier massif, thestudy shows howonecan elaborate on theexperiences felt in a certain location and giveasense of placeand represent thecountrysidein asensitive way.
