摘要：The purpose of this study was to compare the amount of aggression and isolation between athlete and non-athlete orphan teenagers (10-18 years) in Tabriz. In this causal-comparative research, 150 subjects were selected randomly from the orphanage of Tabriz. Data were collected using Bass and Perry aaggressiveness qquestionnaire and a Self-structured questionnaire for isolation. The reliability and validity of the questionnaires were evaluated by author. Data was analyzed through descriptive and inferential statistics (independent t-test). The results revealed that there were significant differences between the aggression scores and verbal, physical, anger and isolation subscales of athlete and non-athlete orphans, but there was no significant difference in subscales of enmity between the same study groups. According to the results of the present research, it is concluded that the negative effects of aggressiveness on individual and social behaviors of orphan teenagers could be prevented by increasing participation in sport activities.
