摘要:The emergence of Covid-19 has caused various social, political and security implications around the world. The unpredictability of this health threat has affected the adjustment of organizational and business policies of all entities to the changed security context. The system of execution of criminal sanctions had to be adapted to the environment and specific living and working conditions in the institutions for the execution of criminal sanctions. The paper analyzes anti-epidemic measures of protection against Covid-19 in institutions for execution of criminal sanctions. The paper is conceived in several thematic units that show the functioning of the system of execution of criminal sanctions in the changed health conditions caused by the phenomenon of Covid-19. The analysis of anti-epidemic protection measures includes consideration of the entire set of measures to reduce the risk of infection and normal functioning of these institutions, comparing with measures applied in the UK prison system. In the last part and discussion of the paper, a proposal of optimal measures for protection against Covid-19 in a prison environment is given. The research is based on the analysis of comparative practice in the Republic of Serbia and selected European countries, the USA and the United Kingdom in the application of anti-epidemic protection measures and the results of those measurements. The timing of the research subject covers the period March-April 2020. It takes a combination of health and organizational protection measures as a reference framework. The basic method used in the research is content analysis.
