摘要:Psychoanalysis, since its early years in Brazil, was used to study supposed singularities characteristic of the national subject. Approximately in the past thirty years, a boom of psychoanalytic productions about the Brazilian were published. In order to understand how our psychoanalysts constructed such conclusions, we selected some works focusing on the references used for their respective interpretations. We conclude that our analysts have sought, to understand national dilemmas, references in common, and, when reading such references not as interpretations, but as “truths”, reproduce, within psychoanalysis, ideologies that permeate the works of the thinkers who serve them as theoretical foundation.
