摘要:This work aim was to analyse the extension project implications for the teachers training and in the learning and motor development of children. Project participated were the coordinator, four Physical Education students, three Pedagogy students, 54 children and four generalist teachers. The project consisted of a pedagogical intervention with the Physical Education contents for Early Childhood Education classes. After two semesters of activities, the project was evaluated using three instruments: students written reflection, semi-structured interview with the teachers and discussions in the conversation circles at the project closing seminar. The collected data were analysed through content analysis, at which time three categories were created: student difficulties, student learning and teacher evaluation. From these results it is possible to observe the extension actions implications for the teachers training by allowing the approximation of the university's knowledge with that of the community.
