摘要:The paper presents results of several climate change impact studies with respect to possible changes in the hydroenergetic potential of Slovakia. Recent trends of its evaluation and utilisation are presented. Several basins, which represent various types of runoff distribution and water use in different regions, were selected as representative areas. Two hydrological models were calibrated using data from baseline periods, which were considered representative of the runoff distribution for stationary climate conditions. GCM scenarios and scenarios, that were analogous with the behaviour of hydro-meteorological processes during warm periods in the past, were used to simulate future runoff conditions in order to test and quantify the sensitivity of the basins to climate change. Possible changes in the mean annual runoff and its distribution within the year for the time horizons 2010, 2030 and 2075 were evaluated and discussed. An assessment of possible adaptation strategies for water management with respect to the hydroenergetic potential and its utilisation for energy production in Slovakia was attempted.
