摘要：The composition of Lednice-Valtice area is based on two main centres to which the conception of landscape design is submitted. Chateau parks in Lednice and Valtice developed in the context of the world landscape design. It is possible to say that in the gardens all important art epochs and influences in garden visage are presented. Preserved rests of the landscape design are regarded an important cultural heritage and part of the national identity. Cultural value of these areas does not lye only in the high concentration of architectural follies and landscape design, as it used to be interpreted. Preserved spatial connections of landscape composition and its symbolic meanings are extremely valuable. The fact that the landscape, in comparison with architecture of garden, changes its character along with the change of social and economic situation, makes difficult the overall preservation of the designed landscape. The application of the traditional "conservation” methods of the care after historical monument is very problematic from the viewpoint of future development of relatively extensive areas.
