摘要:The article presents analysis of precipitation, air temperature and snow cover (depth, water equivalent) data from period 1989–2015 measured in a small mountain catchment of northern Slovakia. Trends in the studied phenomena were not detected, except for January precipitation at altitude 1,500 m a.s.l. which exhibited a statistically signifcant rise. Variability of annual precipitation in the mountains in the last years of the studied period was bigger than in its fist years. The data showed that maximum rainfall intensity in the foothill part of the catchment can be almost as high as in its mountain part. Variability in annual air temperature until 2002 was bigger than in later years and mean annual air temperature was rising since 2007. Temperature increase was more pronounced in colder season (December to March) and in the foothill part of the catchment. The number of snow-weak winters since 2010 was higher than in winters 2000–2009. Snow cover duration has become short especially in the foothill part of the catchment.
