摘要:The present study had as fundamental objective to present a phenomenological description of psychic life, based on the contributions of Husserl and Edith Stein. Taking into account the need to establish a phenomenological psychology, it is understood that such an undertaking demands a rigorous clarification of psychic life. For that, a qualitative bibliographic methodology was used, through which some excerpts of fundamental works by both authors were analyzed. The investigation focused primarily on the text “Psychic causality” (Psychische Kausalität) and the second volume of Ideas Pertaining to a Pure Phenomenology and to a Phenomenological Philosophy (Ideen zu einer reinen Phänomenologie und phänomenologischen Philosophie zweites buch: Phänomenologische Untersuchungen zur Konstitution, 1952). From this analysis, it was possible to conclude that psychic life is established as an animistic reality and that it is constituted through the causal mechanism governed by the variability of the vital sphere and which is regulated automatically. This mechanism, in turn, presents several directions that will compose the singularity of the psychic individual.
