摘要:Writing This article aimstodetermine the role of supervisor in implementing managerial supervision, and determine the factors that causing the low ofadministration staff performanceat Senior High School of Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru. It was a qualitative descriptive research.The research conducted by the writer used qualitative descriptive research whit the subject as the principal supervisor, the headmaster, and the head of administration staff. The object was the implementation of managerial supervision in increasing administration staff performance. Observation and interview were used to collect the data. Data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing were used in analyzing the data. In this study, the main informant was the school supervisor and the additional informants are headmaster and the head of administration staff. After analyzing the data, the role of school supervisor in implementing managerial supervision was good enough, but its implementation was not yet maximum in giving the direct development to theadministration staff. The lack of direct development by the school supervisor, the lack of cooperation between the school supervisor and the headmaster, and the lack of administration staff professional performance were the causes of low administration staff performance. Those were proven by the informants’ words in the interview and observation done by the writer at the time of the study and Field Experience Program at Senior High School of Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru.
