摘要:The distance covered by players in a match, according to player positions and velocities is important for evaluating the player performance during competitions. Soccer players cover 8–13 km during the course of a match. This distance is covered with an intermittent exercise pattern. High-intensity running also seems to be a valid measure of physical performance and tactical role of players in soccer. Objective: The purpose of this study was compared total running distance, maximal running speed and sprint performance in different position soccer players. A further aim of the study was to evaluate the importance of high intensity running activity to overall team success. METHODS: Voluntary 15 male soccer players [age (year)= 26.5±5.1] in three different position [defenders (n=6),midfielders (n=5),forwards (n=4)] from Eskisehirspor were participated to the study. Total running distance, maximal running speed, number of 2-3-4 seconds sprints, number of sprint over 20km.h were tested. Data was collected via global positioning system device (Gpsports,Canberra,Australia) in three different friendly match (local amateur league, first league, super league) played by Eskisehirspor. Kruskal Wallis Test was used to analyze different position soccer players. RESULTS: There were statistical significant differences (p<0.05) in total running distance, maximal running speed and sprint performance in three different player position. There were statistical differences between total running distances in three different match. The greater distances were covered in midfielders (8378±728m),defenders (6960±644m) and forwards (6693±513m) respectively. The sprints were performed in forwards (81±9),defenders (72±14) and midfielders (56±9) respectively. The present study showed reduction in the distances covered by players in the second half than the first half. DISCUSSION: In conclusion, there are three different playing position who are top-class players,we have presented results of running distances, maximal running speed, number of sprints and etc. different training components. The greater distances were covered standing, walking or jogging, follow by moderate-speed running, low speed running,high-speed running and sprinting, also agreeing with similar studies. The current findings provide valuable information about the high-intensity running patterns of a large sample of elite soccer players, which could be useful in the development and prescription of specific training regimes.
