摘要：Pollution emerged with industrialization,pollution and global warming has become a growing problem in recent years. Environmental pollution caused by greenhouse gasses,have been effecting the countries all over world. Greenhouse gases is the result of burning fossil suels. In this way,the harmful gases forced to countries for applying the carbon tax that is market-based financial instruments. Carbon tax alone is not sufficient for the control of enviromental pollution. However,this tax is a kind of taxes that can be seccessful with the participation of all countries. Carbon tax is market-based financial tool. Tax is applied to manufactures in the amount of carbondioxide per. Thus,the companies that become taxpayer both provide additional income for state budget and assume social responsibility while adding social cost to cost.
