摘要：According to international planning documents concerning lifeboat service in Polish SAR responsibility area,a rescue area must be established in accordance with geoinformatical data. This article presents hydrodynamic models as the main source of those data in the South Baltic Region. It focuses on problems related to establishing the accuracy of data from hydrodynamic models of the Baltic Sea. The paper presents results of research concerning the issue,conducted within project no. 0T00A 01328,funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Also the error analysis of hydrodynamic models was presented as a function dependent on the simulation time. Practical applications of research results while planning rescue operations in Polish region of SAR were illustrated.
