摘要:The usefulness of algorithms of shape imperfection determination in lofty structures on the basis of known elements of spatial orientation was studied;the study was supported by a grant from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education's State Research Committee of Poland. To solve the problem,a methodology for digital image analysis and measurement dasta processing was developed,which made it possible to determine and explore elements of external orientation of the camera. To perform the necessary calculations,procedures used to measure deviations of lofty,tower-like structures (industrial stacks,towers,columns,etc) from the vertical were modified. An original system,intended to work as a "digital phototheodolite," was constructed and tested. A Rollei 6008 metric camera equipped with a P20 digital back (16 million pixel resolution) and 4 levels installed was attached to a Theo 010B theodolite. The device allows to take horizontal and inclined (by 23°) photographs. The device was constructed at the University of Science and Technology in Kraków,Poland. The high resolution of the camera made it possible to obtain metric images of a very high geometric and radiometric quality. During the tests, a factory calibrated 80 mm focal length lens was employed,the lens focus being set at infinity. Procedures that allow taking automatic measurements on digital images were worked out. In its final version,the system described will be coupled with a portable computer,which will render it operable in real time. Algorithms of subpixel image analysis were utilized to detect shape imperfections on digital images. The algorithms are based on detecting single points of edge crosssections,whereby an appropriate function,representing the shape of the structure examined,was fitted. The algorithms were integrated into a software and implemented into a system that is being developed under research project support mentioned. The entire software is written in C++ language. The emerging system makes it also possible to examine the accuracy of edge location accuracy in the structures tested structures. Paper discusses results of the research and outcomes of preliminary tests conducted.
