摘要：Knowledge and globalization bring about complex changes, more and more quick and frequent, on the labour market. The labour market performance can be analyzed using the concept of flexibility. In our paper we outline two main directions: positive flexibility 一adaptation by acquiring knowledge and negative flexibility 一 redundancy. Both types of flexibility confer advantages and also disadvantages, and we concluded that the positive flexibility represented the only solution for sustainable development and for producing and assimilating knowledge.
