  • 摘要:In today’s world, people’s interaction with technology and accordingly the connection of electromagnetic radiation spreading from electrical devices, is continuously raising. Especially people living or temporarily existing near power transmission lines and transformers are affected much more with these electromagnetic fields. Nowadays, energy transmission lines, sometimes without adequate planning, are established very close to the residential areas. Therefore, measurement of this sources and to investigate their effects in terms of electromagnetic fields on human health is vital to define proper policies and to get required precautions. This paper presents the real measurements results of electric field and magnetic field and their simulations results obtained using ANSYS Maxwell program of Power Transmission Lines passing through Campus of Sakarya University. To consider each external influences, if any and to prove results’ accuracy and reliability the measurements have been repeated in different times and air conditions. During simulations of power transmission lines, parameters and data taken from SEDAŞ and TEİAŞ have been used in terms of the credibility of the simulation results their comparison with measurement results. Finally, obtained electric and magnetic field values obtained via measurements and simulations have been compared with those of presented in national and international as the limit values.
