摘要:The present study investigates the electrochemical treatment of Basic Blue 3 dyestuff from the textile waste waters. We achieved more than 97% color removal with pH8 after 10 minutes. In terms of initial dye concentrations, 92-95%, 72 and 60% dye removal efficiencies were obtained in 6 minutes for 50-400 mg/L, 500 and 600 mg/L initial dye concentrations respectively. In 10 minutes removing efficiencies became 96% for all the concentrations. When we consider the current density parameter, 96% removal efficiency was obtained with 333 A/m2 current density in 4 minutes respectively. However the removal efficiency only increases to 97% in 10 minutes.
