摘要:Process capability analysis, which assesses the ability of a process to meet customer needs, is a statistical process control technique. However, when measurements and specification limits have linguistic definitions or cannot be defined with crisp numbers, traditional capability indices would cause misleading results. In this study, fuzzy numbers are used to provide more flexible and deep analyses. For this aim, a process with fuzzy measurements is analyzed with fuzzy logic. Control situation of the process is tested by fuzzy control charts, and capability indices are calculated based on fuzzy specification limits. Regarding triangular fuzzy numbers of the capability indices, this study makes “rather capable-rather incapable” statements possible in addition to “capable-incapable”. On the basis of “Direct Fuzzy Approach”, some fuzzy rules are proposed and applied to interpret the capability of the process.
