摘要：In the paper are presented results of the research which the basic objective was to identify spots that are used as open-air locations in films. The next aim is to recognize those features and components of landscape which determine its attraction for film productions and film tourism. In the first part of the paper,an outline of development of film tourism in Poland and in the world is presented as well as significance of landscape for film scenes. After a short introduction on the issues examined,in the second part of the article,landscape appeal for film productions and film tourism in the Lublin region is described. Then,results of the survey,conducted among the students of MCSU in Lublin,are presented. As the researches reveal,the Lublin region can be characterized by hidden potential connected with landscape inspirations for the film art. Cultural landscapes of small towns as well as those of big cities,which possess well-preserved historical buildings (among others:Lublin,Kazimierz Dolny,Zamość),belong to the most popular and the most frequently used by filmmaker open-air locations in different film productions. But,it should be stressed that other types of landscapes are also of great attraction and arouse interest among films producers.
