摘要：Recent years,dynamic development of soundscape studies has been observed. In these studies supplementary the research on noise,the sound is treated as reserves of aesthetic meanings and experience,the sound is perceived as a threat and a source of discomfort. In Poland,soundscape studies have been also developed by representatives of various academic disciplines. Unfortunately,not any coherent terminological system has been created. Apart the term soundscape,that is translated into Polish in different ways,there is a range of additional expressions describing structure,functions and methods of soundscape research. These are among other things:soundmark,biophony,geophony,antrophony,sonotopes,topophonophilia,soundwalk,soundmap,acoustic community,acoustic revitalisation,acoustic heritage,sound tourism. All the terms mentioned previously are used freely that causes chaos and hinders progress of the studies. The objective of the paper is to explain terminological inaccuracies and organize existing nomenclature concerning soundscape studies (especially in Polish literature).
