摘要：Article takes the issue of the relation between space,landscape and cultural environment in the geographical sciences and considers the inter-relationships between these concepts. In science there is no one general and commonly understood type of space and also there is no one definition of landscape. Therefore,author consider the answer to questions,among others,is it possible that geographical space can exist without landscape,if landscape can exist outside of space and moreover,if the "other” spaces have their "own” landscapes? The author refers mainly to the physical space and its many subtypes and to five basic cultural landscape research approaches. Article includes author’s own definition of cultural environment. Article rises an issue of cyberspace and virtual landscapes. The article has polemical character and its aim is to activate the scientific discussion about these important concepts in geography.
