摘要：Variados são os mitos que envolvem a aquisição de mais de uma língua durante a infância. Tais concepções errôneas acabam tendo influência nas atitudes linguísticas dos pais, principalmente porque muitas delas são difundidas por profissionais. Este estudo de caso tem como objetivos principais observar a influência dos mitos que circundam o bilinguismo infantil na atitude linguística de uma mãe que decidiu não ensinar a sua língua materna a sua filha, identificar o sentimento da filha, já adulta, em relação a essa escolha e observar o papel do pai nessa decisão. Para isso, foram gravadas entrevistas com mãe e filha tendo por base um roteiro previamente elaborado. Os resultados apontaram que a mãe sofreu influências de mitos referentes ao bilinguismo infantil na decisão de não ensinar a sua língua materna a sua filha; que esta questiona a decisão de sua progenitora; e que o pai teve influência negativa na decisão da mãe.
其他摘要：There are many myths involving the acquisition of more than one language during childhood. Such misconceptions end up influencing parents' linguistic attitudes, mainly because many of them are spread by professionals. This case study has as its main objectives, therefore, to observe the influence of the myths that involve the infantile child language, an infantile linguistic attitude that does not select the use of its mother language, to identify the feeling of the daughter, already adult, in relation to make this choice and note the role of the father in this decision. For this, interviews were recorded with mother and daughter based on a script previously prepared. The results showed that the mother was influenced by the myths surrounding bilingualism in her decision not to teach her daughter her mother language; whereas the daughter questions the decision of her parent; and that the father had a negative influence on the mother's decision.
