标题：O uso de álcool e outras drogas por adolescentes: consequências na vida familiar e escolar

摘要：OBJETIVO: O uso de álcool e outras drogas durante a adolescência pode levar a inúmeros problemas no desenvolvimento dos usuários, tanto cognitivo quanto social.O cérebro em formação, a interação com o meio em que vive e os conflitos existentes durante esta fase da vida interferem nos resultados que o abuso de álcool e outras drogas podem trazer a este adolescente.O objetivo deste trabalho é identificar o uso de álcool e outras drogas por estudantes do ensino médio de uma escola particular e uma escola pública em Anápolis-Goiás e as consequências escolares e familiares.MÉTODOS: Foi utilizado um questionário semiestruturado com questões sociodemográficas (sexo, idade, religião, vida familiar, entre outros) e o Inventário de Triagem do Uso de Drogas - Dusi - R.RESULTADOS: O álcool teve maior prevalência de uso (52,1%), seguida por tabaco (12,4%) e maconha (8,9%).Os estudantes que usaram drogas tiveram maiores chances de ter problemas escolares e familiares, como faltas, discussões com os pais, não fazer deveres escolares e usar doses maiores das drogas para chegar ao efeito desejado.CONCLUSÃO: O uso indiscriminado e sem acompanhamento de drogas pode trazer consequências aos usuários e o conhecimento deste uso pode auxiliar no combate e prevenção entre a população pesquisada.Os resultados demonstram algumas dessas consequências no âmbito escolar e familiar, mostrando a necessidade de campanhas de prevenção e informação para jovens e pais.
其他摘要：OBJECTIVE: The use of alcohol and other drugs during youth can bring several problems in the cognitive and social development of the users. The maturation of the brain, the interaction with the environment they live in, and the conflicts during this life phase can end up interfering in the results that abuse of alcohol and other drugs can bring to teenagers. The primary goal of this work is to identify the use of alcohol and other drugs by high school students from a private and a public school in Anápolis, and the consequences of it in their scholar life and the relationship with their family. METHODS: This research used a semi-structured questionnaire with social-demographic questions (gender, age, religion, family life etc) and the Drug Use Screening Inventory - DUSI - R. RESULTS: Alcohol had a higher prevalence of use (52.1%), followed by tobacco (12.4%) and marijuana (8.9%). Students who used drugs were more likely to have school and family problems, such as absenteeism, discussions with their parents, not doing homework and using larger doses of drugs to achieve the desired effect. CONCLUSION: The indiscriminate and unmonitored drug abuse can have consequences for the users, and the knowledge of this abuse can aid in the combat and prevention among the researched population. Results demonstrate some of these consequences in the school and family context, showing the need for prevention and information campaigns for teenagers and its parents.
