  • 摘要:DIFFERENCES IN BURNOUT ACCORDING TO SEX AND AGE IN NON-UNIVERSITY TEACHERSMaslach's three-factor model, burnout model more used for research on teacher issues, describes three types of symptoms, emotional exhaustion involving physical and mental fatigue, depersonalization with negative feelings, and a feeling of low achievement that translates to think that the demands surpass the resources to be attended effectively. As a consequence of this, generalized discouragement occurs in those who suffer from it. The objective of the present study was to analyze differences in burnout according to sex and age. To this end, 507 participants were recruited, who provided teaching in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education and Secondary Education. Participants completed the Maslasch Burnout Inventory. The results of the analysis of variance showed statistically significant differences according to sex and age groups. These findings show the importance of implementing programs aimed at the prevention of symptoms.
