摘要:The evolution of technology makes it possible the spread of new business models derived from of a disruptive innovation carried out by organizations working to be leaders in their industry. This is the case of Telefónica, Spanish multinational, which has become a representative example in the development of “Internet of things”, IoT, a trend that is predicted to have a high impact, where information is positioned as the main asset to manage. Currently, there is little academic literature written on the subject, so this work offers an introductory theoretical framework on the status of the issue and reflect on the possibilities of penetration of IoT through some recent evidences. The analysis is mainly focused in the innovation capability.
