摘要：Resumen En el presente trabajo se reportan los resultados obtenidos durante la primera etapa de investigación del proyecto Agricultura en terrazas en el Cerro SanLucas, Valle de Teotihua-can, la cual consistió en la realización de fotografía aérea, prospección geofísica y el estudio de residuos químicos previos a la excavación del sitio de interés. Siguiendo la metodología de estudio de sitios arqueológicos desde la superficie establecida por el laboratorio, la aplicación de las técnicas geofísicas y químicas fue determinante en la detección de rasgos asociados con ocupaciones del Posclásico tardío, así como para la interpretación de las actividades. Abstact This article presents the results obtained during the first stage of the Project Terrace Agriculture in Cerro San Lucas, Valley of Teotihuacan. This first phase included the aerial photography and the geophysical prospection prior to the excavation of the site. Following the methodology to study archaeological sites from the surface established by the laboratory, the application of geophysical and chemical techniques was determinant in the detection of buried features related to a workshop of maguey production acti vities from the Late Postclassic Period.
