摘要：This paper discusses Implementation of the values of women's struggle in Poetri Hindia Newspaper 1908-1911. The elements discussed in this paper include women’s lives in the end of the 19th century until beginning of the 20th century, the publication of the Poetri Hindia newspaper, and the values of women’s struggle in that newspaper. Poetri Hindia newspaper as the first newspaper for women with Melayu languange and contains ideas struggle for the improvement of women must have significance in the study of women’s history in Indonesia. At that time, few newspapers wrote about indigenous women, even rare indigenous women whose ideas were published in the newspaper. To discuss these elements used historical methods.
