摘要：This paper (i) describes the patterns of answers to yes-no questions in European Portuguese; (ii) presents data illustrating the acquisition of these patterns; (iii) argues that the acquisition of patterns of answer to yes-no questions in European Portuguese provides evidence for two types of modularity in the acquisition process: modularity of syntax, discourse and pragmatics and modularity within the computational system.
