摘要：This study aimed to improve the students’ knowledge in selection of majors in universities through two stay two stray technique of group guidance. The method of this study used quantitative research with the type quasi experimental design using pretestposttest control group design, data processing was calculated by statistical method. The sample of 40 students was from 20 students of IPS1 XII class and 20 students of XII IPS2 class taken by using simple random sampling, and then divided into two groups: experimental group and control group. Data collection techniques were questionnaire and observation. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis and t-test. The results showed that there were significant differences between the students’ knowledge in selection of majors in the experimental group before (pretest) and after (posttest) giving treatment techniques two stay two stray in group counseling.
