摘要:Cannabis sativa is one of the oldest species of domesticated plants and remains one of the most widespread crops. It is also the most used illicit drug in the world. We tried to present the botanical and chemical methods currently used to identify inter and intraspecific diversity in the genus Cannabis, but that has little or no ability to individualize or correlate samples. Moreover, we characterized the current molecular tools, which show useful results in the individualization of plant samples and thus may contribute to the police intelligence in determining geographical plantations and trafficking routes.
