摘要：Frantisek Koukolík belongs to the remarkable personage of the Czech medicine. His wide scientific scope enables to get advantage of his works to a wide range of professionals – not only for physicians,but also neurologists,psychiatrics,psychologists,etc. He is interested in any kind of scientific knowledge and he actively fights against stupidity and nonsenses. The typical and original feature of his effort (which is close to the famous American neurologist Oliver Sacks) is broadening the knowledge to a wide public. He is the author of many popularizing books on various scientific topics (astronomy,medicine,social terms,psychiatry,physics…) through which mediates interesting information for non-professionals. In the similar way he is active in television,radio,and newspapers. Except this,he works hard in a professional field of neuropathology – he is the head of Department of Pathology and National Reference Laboratory TSE-CJN of Thomayer university hospital in Prague,university teacher on Medical faculty of Charles University and also the author of several scientific publications and textbooks.
