摘要：International migration has positive impacts on socio-economic development in Bangladesh. Using secondary data,this paper explores the impacts of remittances on socio-economic development in Bangladesh. The article reveals that remittance has significant impacts on Bangladesh economy and socio-economic development,for example,reducing the poverty,increasing the household expenditure,saving,leading to maintain the quality of life as well as gender equality. Therefore,the government should take necessary steps to fostering international migration as a national strategy for economic development of Bangladesh.
