摘要：Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) have a very important role in developing and developed countries’ economies due to their social and economic functions.Being accepted as a base of economy and social life in Turkey,SMEs have to adopt competitions inside and outside of Turkey in order to survive.One of the most necessary elements in achieving logistical competitive advantage is the management of inventory efficiently.This is possible only by using contemporary knowledge and technology for inventory management.In this research,factors affecting information and technology usage for inventory management in SMEs have been investigated.An empirical study was conducted in the manufacturing industries.Data were collected from a sample of 583 manufacturing SMEs and analyzed.As a result of this study,it was found that SMEs give importance to technology usage for inventory management differently,based on business size,industry and production process.
