  • 摘要:Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) are a ceramic type of fuel cell operating at elevated temperatures.Fuel cells provide great potential for electric power generation on board surface ships.Today naval surface ships use F-76 diesel fuel.In this study,A 120 kW diesel-fueled solid oxide fuel cell system (SOFC) as an auxiliary engine on-board a surface ship was designed and thermodynamically analyzed.Fuel cell system was compared to dieselelectric generator set in a case surface ship.
