摘要：Geo-diversity is the characteristic of the environment by which the complete functioning of life, but also the maintaining of the social-economic functions is available. The modern integral approach to nature conservation, as multidisciplinary, and above all, applicative and active form of respected relation between man and the environment, incorporates the equal treatment and position of the protection and advancement of geographical diversity of natural phenomena, i.e. geo-diversity. In order to overtake the measures of adequate protection, conservation and advancement of different kinds of geographical diversity of Banjaluka region, it is necessary to know the essence, causality, criteria of evaluation and the basic processes of the geo-diversity degradation of the mentioned geographical region.
