摘要：The family empowerment and welfare group as one of the village units can be optimized to realize women empowerment through waste processing program. The research design used is survey research, which is a research that aims to find factual information showing symptoms, identify problems or to justify the circumstances and activities that are running, and to know the things done by the people who were targeted research in solving problems. The method used in this research is observation and interview. The empowerment of women with indicators participation, access, control, cooperation, and confodence based calculations on observation result shows the percentage of 82.5%. The value belongs to the very good category because it is at the interval coefficient of 80% - 100% based on the guidelines to provide interpretation of the percentage.
