摘要:This research aim to know change in hemoglobin levels and quantity of erythrocytes after being given a vitamin C and maximal physical exercise. True experimental research method is to held a intervention or treatment. The research population is stain wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus). Number of samples 18 male wistar rats aged 2-2.5 months, weight 100-150 grams. The amount of sample based WHO every group minimum 5 tails with one tail reserves. This research was conducted in February 2015, in the Laboratory of Biology Science Faculty, Unnes. Data collection techniques using the method sahli and hemocytometer. The data analysis used paired ttest influence and comparative test. Result this research, there was significant influence between giving vitamin C before maximum physical exercise on quantity of erythrocytes with a value of P=0.038 (p<0.05). There is no significant influence between giving vitamin C before maksimum physical exercise against hemoglobin levels with the value of P=0.117 (p>0.05). In conclusion the results of the research is the provision of pure vitamin C dose of 1.8 mg/200 grBB mice per day given in wistar rats before maximal physical exercise could be significantly increase the quantity of erythrocytes, but did not significantly increase the levels of hemoglobin.
