  • 摘要:Kicking is an effective attack patterns to gain points in a game, in this case the ability to leg muscle power plays an important role. The purpose of this study to know the different exercises and workout front cone hops zig-zag drill to increase leg muscle power. This research uses experimental methods. The study population is the Students Extracurricular Participant Son Tae Kwon Do SMA Negeri 1 Semarang regency in 2012, totaling 14 students. Of 14 students, having held an initial test, then paired with ordinal rank pairing and divided into 2 groups. Group 1 was treated workout front cone hops and group 2 were treated workout zig-zag drill. Data collection techniques to test and measurement. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. The results of this research is the practice of front cone hops and zig-zag drill exercise gives a different effect on the increase in leg muscle power Students Extracurricular Participant Son Tae Kwon Do SMA Negeri 1 Semarang District 2012. Exercise zigzag drill (70.58%) better effect than the exercise front cone hops (19.77%) of the increase in leg muscle power in the Students Extracurricular Participant Son Tae Kwon Do SMA Negeri 1 Semarang District 2012. Conclusions: This study is an exercise in front cone hops and zig-zag drill exercise gives a different effect on the increase in leg muscle power Students Extracurricular Participant Son Tae Kwon Do SMA Negeri 1 Semarang District 2012. Advice can be given to improve leg muscle power in sport Tae Kwon Do, the coach should have to have creativity and be able to apply the proper training methods, the results of this study can be used as a guideline to identify and select the method of exercises to improve leg muscle power in Tae Kwon Do and exercise front cone hops and zig-zag drill exercises can be selected as a coach for an exercise routine to improve leg muscle power in sport Tae Kwon Do.
