摘要：The aim of this work is to present the significance and expedience of the allocation of the foreign direct investments into the Slovak Economics. Foreign direct investments (FDI) contribute with its effects to the economic growth and competitiveness of economy. At the same time it mentions important factors stimulating (decelerating) development of FDI in Slovak Economy as well as in wood processing industry.
