摘要：Rural areas are a particular reflection of the region’s cultural heritage. The establishment of agritourism farms has an impact on education and affects the consolidation and promotion of cultural values and their dependencies in today’s world. Rural tourism is based on environmental values. This paper pays particular attention to social, economic and environmental conditions. In rural areas, these factors may hinder the sustainable management of rural resources. In practice, education in the area of economic and social development and environmental protection means complying with sustainable development principles. To ensure sustainable development, extensive education is required on how to properly manage natural resources. The purpose of this presentation is to analyze the significance of educational activities in the development of rural tourism in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodeship based on research findings. This paper also shows how to make practical use of knowledge developed based on technologies employed in renewable energy generation and on the use of water resources in running agritourism farms. The awareness of how to comply with sustainable development principles is determined by educational factors; it depends on whether the owners of agritourism farms have general access to education and are able to further communicate their knowledge to the tourists. In practice, educational services were offered only by 8.6% of agritourism farms.
