摘要:Nowadays, tourism is one of the most important sectors of the global economy which undergoes rapid development. More than just a business activity, tourism also means personal development, exploring the world, physical and mental recovery, and development of human creativity. It has an educational dimension, too. Educational farms are one of the “branded products of rural tourism” established in 2011 as part of the Polish Educational Farms Network which have an educational function. The purpose of this study was to characterize Polish educational farms and, based on a case study, to provide examples of educational farms which (due to their services, location and recognition) are a “branded product of rural tourism” and may therefore serve as best practices while driving the development of similar rural activities.
