摘要：Mas Village in Gianyar Bali has a very high artistic creative value in the art of craft so that its products are in demand by tourists either local,national,or international. This article aims to examine the development of craft art at Mas Village which was previously done handmade but now is with the help of machines because of the increasing demand (mass produced) so that there has been industrialization of the art of craft. This article also describes the industrialization happens in the art of craft and observes new ideas related to the preservation of Balinese cultural identity through craft art products industrialization process which have high competitiveness in the tourism market. Qualitative research method is applied in this research which includes observation technique and in-depth interviews. All data is analysed descriptively,holistically,and interpretatively. The results obtained are an in-depth understanding of the art of craft that gone through the dynamic process from its original as a result of industrialization in the mid of the rapidly growing tourism development.
